What it does
This bot gives a server's staff team a small, fixed set of moderation commands for a FiveM roleplay server, run from Discord. Every action goes through a slash command, and only members holding an authorized staff role such as an admin, moderator or owner role can run one. Each request is checked before anything happens: whether the person has permission, whether the target player exists and is online, and whether the arguments are formatted correctly. If a check fails, the command is refused with a clear error message.
Staff can revive an online player, kick a player with a required reason, ban a player for a set duration or permanently, and issue warnings that are tracked over time. Ban durations follow a strict format, duplicate bans are blocked, and warnings can escalate automatically after a set number of them. Kicking a higher-ranking staff member requires the person running the command to hold higher permissions. Commands have cooldowns to limit spam, and self-targeting is blocked unless a command explicitly allows it.
Every punishment is logged with full details, and the bot watches for repeated punishments from the same staff member as a possible sign of abuse. When a player ID does not match anyone, the bot suggests the closest matches instead of failing silently. The command set is intentionally limited to these moderation actions, so members without a staff role cannot use the bot for anything else.
Questions about Lincoln Park Roleplay
Who can use the moderation commands?
Only members with an authorized staff role, such as an admin, moderator or owner role, can run them. The bot checks permissions on every command and refuses execution if the user lacks the required role. Regular members cannot use it at all.
What happens if I enter a player ID that does not exist?
The command is denied and you get a clear error instead of a silent failure. The bot also suggests the closest matching player IDs so staff can correct the entry. It validates that the target player is online before acting.
How do bans and warnings work over time?
Bans accept a strict duration format, temporary or permanent, and duplicate bans are blocked. Warning history is stored per player, and warnings can escalate automatically after a set number. Every punishment is logged with full details for later review.
