Welcome Bot

This bot handles the routine parts of running a server: it greets new members when they join, posts announcements to a channel you choose, and includes a music player for Spotify. Members see the welcome message and announcements; staff decide where those messages go and what they say. The music player lets members listen together in a voice channel, with playback controlled through the bot.

The bot works from settings you provide rather than from a fixed setup. You pick the channel for welcomes and the channel for announcements, and you give the bot the permissions it needs to read and send messages there. Because it relies on Discord's member events to notice new arrivals, it needs the members intent enabled for your server; without that, welcomes will not fire. The music player needs permission to join and speak in voice channels.

Setup is a short configuration step: add the bot, confirm its role sits above the roles it needs to see, and point it at your channels. After that it runs quietly in the background, greeting arrivals and posting announcements as they come. If a welcome or announcement does not appear, check the channel permissions and the members intent first, since those are the usual causes.
