Welcome Bot

Welcome Bot handles the greeting side of a server: when someone joins, it posts a welcome message in the channel you choose, and it can send a farewell message when a member leaves. The people who see it most are ordinary members, who get a short public greeting as they arrive, and staff, who decide where those messages appear and what they say.

Setup is done once by whoever runs the server. You pick the channel that should receive join and leave messages, then adjust the wording so it fits the tone of your community. From then on the bot posts on its own whenever membership changes, so nobody on the staff team has to watch for new arrivals or write a greeting by hand.

The bot stays in the background and only speaks when someone joins or leaves. It does not moderate chat, assign roles, or run tickets; its job is the welcome and farewell messages. If you want new members to be noticed and departing ones acknowledged without staff effort, this covers that narrow task and leaves the rest of your setup alone.
