GuardianOS is a moderation and server management bot that keeps its records inside the server's own setup rather than depending on outside services. Staff use it for everyday moderation: banning, kicking, muting, timeouts, warnings, notes, and case tracking. Each action is recorded, so a member's history stays available when the team needs to review it later. A warning and punishment system applies escalation rules with configurable thresholds, and temporary tools such as timed mutes and temporary bans lift themselves when the time is up.
Role control is handled through structured workflows. Staff can add or remove roles directly, while members can request a role or ask for one to be removed, giving the team a controlled way to approve permission changes. An internal logging system tracks moderation actions, role changes, and staff activity. Basic security covers spam filtering, mass mention detection, join rate monitoring, and an optional lockdown mode for the whole server.
Utility tools let staff manage channels, categories, permissions, slowmode, and general server configuration. A server overview can be generated as an embed and sent to the requesting user's direct messages. Moderation prompts use slash commands, buttons, dropdowns, and embeds so staff can act quickly without typing long commands.
Warnings are stored against each member, and the bot applies escalation rules once a member passes a threshold you configure. When the limit is reached, an automatic moderation action follows. Exact thresholds and the actions available depend on how the bot is set up in your server.
It needs permissions to moderate members, manage roles, and manage channels, since it handles bans, timeouts, role changes, and channel settings. The staff role that runs moderation commands should sit above the roles it manages. The server overview is sent to the requesting user's DMs, so their privacy settings must allow direct messages.
Members can request a role or ask for one to be removed, and staff review those requests before anything changes. Approved changes are applied through the role management commands and recorded in the internal logs. The bot does not grant roles automatically unless your setup is configured that way.
