A Discord ticket bot built with Discord Bot Creator
This bot runs a ticket system for a Discord server, built around slash commands and button-based ticket creation. Members open a ticket by picking a category from a select menu and filling in a short form, and the bot creates a private ticket channel with its own number. Each ticket tracks who opened it, which support team owns it, and its current status, so staff can see at a glance what needs attention.
Staff have a set of tools for working a ticket: claiming it, setting a priority, renaming it, locking or unlocking it, moving it to another staff member, and adding or removing participants. They can keep internal notes that members do not see, tag tickets, and reopen a closed one if the issue comes back. Tickets can be closed automatically after inactivity, and duplicate tickets from the same member are prevented. When a ticket ends, the bot produces an HTML and a TXT transcript, logs it, and can send a copy to the member by direct message. Members can leave a rating afterwards.
The escalation system moves a ticket through support tiers, from first-line support up to senior staff, management, and other teams the server defines. Escalation can be triggered by staff with a stated reason or by automatic rules, and each step notifies the right people and records what happened. Categories can be tied to their own support teams so tickets reach the right group first.
They use the bot's slash command or a button, choose a category from a select menu, and answer the form questions in a popup. The bot then creates a private channel for that ticket. Exact command names depend on how the bot is set up on your server.
It needs to create and manage channels, send messages, and read channel history so it can build transcripts. It also needs permission to manage roles or channel overwrites so only the member and the relevant support team can see each ticket. Staff roles need access to the ticket categories.
A staff member can escalate a ticket to a higher tier with a reason, or automatic triggers can do it. The ticket moves to the next support tier, the appropriate people are notified, and the change is logged. Tiers and their teams are configurable for your server.
